Spain isn't just the second most popular tourist destination in the world; it is also a leader in hosting meetings, incentives and events. We are ranked fourth in the world for hosting the most international meetings, and we are the only country with two cities in the Top 5.

We have over 16,000 hotels and a network of nearly 100 Paradores: unique accommodation in castles, monasteries and palaces, known for their excellence and their uniqueness as venues for business events. There are also over 40 Conference Centres and many meeting rooms, auditoriums and multi-purpose facilities all over the country.

In total, we boast over 30 international airports, seven major cruise ports, around 3,000 kilometres of high-speed railway, Europe’s largest road and motorway network, and excellent public transport systems in all our large cities.

All destinations in Spain have departments specialising in the meetings and events segment, to be found in the Spain Convention Bureau network.

The Spanish National Tourist Office in London, through its MICE Department, is a non-profitable organization offering free services such as: 

•Advice on where to organize your events depending on your clients brief 

•Providing contacts with key representatives from any part of Spain, including local convention bureaux and other suppliers

•Assistance with bids for international congresses

•Fam trips and site inspections with or without your clients
